Rainmeter

Rainmeter is a desktop customization platform. Through Rainmeter, you can enhance your Windows computer at home or work with skins: handy, compact applets which float freely on your desktop, much like Windows Sidebar gagdgets, or dashboard widgets for the Mac.Rainmeter skins provide you with useful information at a glance. It's easy to keep an eye on your system resources, like memory and battery power, or your online data streams, including email, RSS feeds, and weather forecasts. Many skins are even functional: they can record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications, and send your tweets to Twitter - all in a clean, unobtrusive interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking.

Compatibility: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7

Tutorial

• Download the Application here. (Choose according to your OS 32bit / 64 bit)
• When installing make sure that the Add shortcuts is checked
  
• After installing done, you can use the rainmeter immediately, By mouse 2 in the rainmeter icon in the system tray and choose config to choose the skin that you wish to use.
  
• Done, Hurrayy 

(note: For Enigma Skin Explaination)

For some settings like some RSS FEED, GMAIL, Twitter, Weather Code, Location etc that require personal settings, you can access it through the configuration, Double click icon rainmeter in the system tray, and choose configuration there are few settings that u can edit for your personal use.





Some elemen that you can edit:

• Weather Code : You can get the weather code from weather.yahoo.com and choose the location after that click icon rss  then copy code weather in the url. For Example for code weather Yogyakarta IDXX0058
• GMail username: Username GMail. Without "@gmail.com"
• GMail Password: Password
• Color Icon: change enigma icon colour.
• APP: enigma skin application
• APPPath: application adress.
• APPLabel: Application label which you can see in the enigma.

pretty self explanatory, right? 

For enigma skin, to change the rss feed:

Mouse 2 skin, choose skin menu, edit skin.

Read for awhile usually there are instructions to change.

find RSS(CTRL+F) or URL RSS, copy to there URL RSS that you wish to change

How to use the skins that you have downloaded

• Copy the Folder skin, paste it to My Documents/Rainmeter/Skin.
• Mouse 2 rainmeter icon and choose Refresh All.
• Choose config, and choose the skin that you have downloaded.
